Christian BARANDAO-BAKÉLÉ

Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar on 22 May 2008

Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in May 2008, Christian has built a resolutely international career: successively a litigation lawyer and then a business law practitioner, he then served for nearly a decade as senior in-house counsel in two international groups — one active in digital services and technology, the other in advanced industry.

From this dual background — the law firm and the corporate world — he draws an immediate reading of the economic and operational dimension of the matters entrusted to him.

His practice covers commercial law, corporate law, business law, corporate governance, employment law and business criminal law. He has worked on structuring transactions: group restructurings, capital increases by contribution in kind, institutional financing, international establishments, multi-jurisdictional social plans, and AML-CFT compliance.

Christian also advises national football federations in their contractual negotiations, their relations with international bodies and their disputes before the Court of Arbitration for Sport, including the conduct of amicable settlements and the negotiation of partnerships with international equipment suppliers. Passionate about sport, music and communication.
